From July 14–18, 2025, Óbuda University’s Summer Children’s University hosted its Minecraft‑based camp titled "Insight into the World of E-sports through Minecraft", featuring structured and engaging STEAM education activities. Participants (aged 10–14) explored diverse aspects of esports, including its history, ethics, teamwork, strategic thinking, and the rigorous training behind professional play.

Under the guidance of esports expert Leonárd Fehér, daily sessions began with free exploration followed by reaction‑time drills and motor‑skills training using the Hungarian-developed bardtest.gg platform—commonly used by pro players.

Through gameplay-based lessons, campers gained hands-on understanding of internet mechanics (like ping), multiplayer systems, and gameplay analysis, learning how to manage technical issues, emotions, and physical stamina in gaming contexts.

Creative challenges such as flag‑capture missions in Minecraft combined fun with skills development, fostering collaboration, problem‑solving, and digital literacy in an immersive, interactive environment.
